WHO IS RAMALEJO?

Alejandro Ramirez is a musician and sound engineer specializing in mixing. In 2023, he was awarded the Latin Grammy for Best Ranchera Album for his work with Christian Nodal on “El Forajido EP 2.” Additionally, at the same awards ceremony, he received nominations for 12 other projects. He also participated in 5 winning projects at the Latin Billboard 2023. In 2024, he is honored to be nominated for the American Grammys in the category of Best Latin Pop Album for his role as a sound engineer on Maluma’s album “Don Juan.”

He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Karol G, Grupo Frontera, Maluma, Peso Pluma, Christian Nodal, Humbe, Prince Royce, Manuel Turizo, Ivan Cornejo, Herencia de Timbiqui, Arcangel, Sech, Camilo, Kany García, Feid, Tulipa Ruiz, João Donato, Lele Pons, Guaynaa, Ricardo Montaner, Enrique Iglesias, Lalo Cortes, Grupo Firme, Becky G, Leonel García, Thalia, and Mau y Ricky.

He holds a degree in Music and Sound Engineering from Universidad Javeriana. While studying, he gained experience as a podcast editor for the YouTube channel The Take, working for ScreenPrism Media for 2 years. For 1.5 years, he also worked as an assistant to Luis Barrera at HIT23 Studios, gaining invaluable experience in the industry. Currently, he works independently in his studio in Bogotá, where he collaborates on local and international projects as a mixer and producer.
